Air Georgian’s SOAR program for aviation career awareness, recruitment and retention continues to grow with the addition of Alkan Air. The partnership provides a career pathway for pilots at Alkan Air to become First Officers with Air Georgian.

About the SOAR Program
Alkan Air enters SOAR though Air Georgian’s ATAC member program which is open to all ATAC member airlines and flight schools. Partners receive predictable, timed attrition and extended notice periods. Also, it provides their employees with an entry point to the Air Canada system. With this new partnership, the list of ATAC member partners continues to grow even ahead of SOAR’s official launch in November 2017.
SOAR (Sharing Opportunities for Advancement and Reward):
- Raises awareness of careers in aviation for high school students
- Works with flight schools and 703/704 operators to recruit pilots into Air Georgian, and;
- Provides career fulfillment and advancement opportunities for all employees
