Eric Edmondson – President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Edmondson is President and CEO of Regional Express Aviation Ltd. (REAL) the parent and managing company of Air Georgian where he holds the position of President and CEO. Mr. Edmondson is the accountable executive for Air Georgian and has over 26 years of experience in corporate and airline operations.
Holding an Airline Transport Pilot’s License, Eric is an Approved Check Captain. He held various line flying and management positions at Simo Air, an Air Ambulance and Cargo operator. Prior to that was responsible for the corporate aviation department at Green Forest Lumber.
Eric is an active community volunteer having coached various youth football and hockey teams for over 20 years. Eric was also an advisor to many athletic programs throughout Ontario during that time. He was President of the Barrie Women’s Hockey Association and was active on their board for eight years. Eric is an ambassador for Lift The Mask, an initiative dedicated to providing mental health support and awareness for the hockey goaltending community as part of the Goalie Guild. The Goalie Guild is a non-profit foundation that educates, inspires, and supports hockey goalies and goalie coaches across the globe.
Julie Mailhot – Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Mailhot oversees all aspects of Air Georgian’s operations including flight operations, maintenance, customer service, safety, security, reliability, and efficiency. She comes from a long line of successful roles with Air Canada including Director of Facility Optimization Programs. In this function, she was pivotal in leading different major company projects for IT and CRE for the new wide-body hangar at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and the Hot Site for OC. Prior to this role, she served as Director of International Operations and Customer Service where she ultimately oversaw and supported 71 international stations and call centres, as well as all aspects of customer relations.
She has been a member of International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Chair for the Regional Coordinating Group for Safety, Operations and Infrastructure for the Latin America and Caribbean regions, and a committee member for the Customer Experience Board (CEB) for Star Alliance.
Ms. Mailhot is a recipient of the Art of Excellence 20th Edition, proudly serves as the President for Dreams Take Flight, and is a member of the Special Assistance Team for Air Canada. She is also a passionate ambassador for the Air Canada Foundation.
Scott Monsen – Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Monsen joined Air Georgian as Corporate Controller in September 1997. In his current role, he is responsible for Air Georgian’s overall financial direction, including financial reporting and planning, treasury, taxation, strategic procurement and audit.
Prior to joining Air Georgian, Mr. Monsen spent six years practicing in a midsize public accounting firm. Mr. Monsen holds a BA degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and has been a member of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1996.
Adeeb Haddadi – Vice President, Aircraft Maintenance
Mr. Haddadi was recruited to Air Georgian as part of the CRJ fleet introduction in 2014. As a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer from Centennial College in Toronto, Adeeb is well versed in all aspects of Air Georgian’s maintenance production and management. Throughout his career at Air Georgian, Adeeb has continually progressed and proven himself by accepting increasing responsibility.
Having led as Base Manager prior to becoming Vice President, Maintenance Operations, Adeeb is able to communicate directly with all maintenance team members authentically. His natural leadership skills, self-motivation and strong personal sense of accountability drive Adeeb’s performance. Adeeb is an Avionics Specialist and is licensed (ACA and SCA) on the CRJ series aircraft.
Adeeb’s career growth at Air Georgian has been fueled by his hands-on approach to production and his strong spirit of innovation and process improvement. He has influenced and improved maintenance performance by challenging his colleagues to perform better while enhancing safety and respecting our customer’s interests.
Mike Miguel – Vice President, Commercial Markets & Strategy
Mr. Miguel joined Air Georgian in 2019 as Vice President of Commercial Markets and Strategy.Mr. Miguel held several management roles with WestJet between 2003 and 2018 in business development, and strategic and commercial sales. Mike also oversaw the commercial introduction of WestJet Encore from an indirect sales channel perspective.
Before that Mr. Miguel spent 13 years with Eastern Airlines and American Airlines, holding positions in operations and airports, human resources and training, and international security.
In his role with Air Georgian, Mr. Miguel is responsible for developing and supporting market opportunities to fulfill long-term sustainable growth initiatives within the regional airline sector. Mike represents Air Georgian in commercial matters supporting airline partnerships, market development, and regional airline growth objectives.
In support of core business objectives, Mr. Miguel is also developing secondary business opportunities related to ACMI, workforce logistics, and charter operations.
Troy Stephens – Vice President, Flight Operations
Mr. Stephens began his career with Air Georgian in 1997 as a First Officer flying B1900 aircraft. Over the past 22 years, he has steadily risen through the Company in various roles including B1900 Captain, Line Indoctrination Captain and Approved Check Pilot.
Troy was responsible for opening Air Georgian bases in Halifax and Calgary before becoming System Chief Pilot and 705 Assistance Chief Pilot, while also managing our Charter Department.
Since the introduction of Air Georgian’s CRJ program in 2014, Troy has been an integral part of its growth, leading to his current role as VP, Flight Operations which he began in October 2017.
Brock Henderson – Vice President, Operational Control
Mr. Henderson was recruited to Air Georgian as Director, Operations Control in 2015. He is responsible for delivering highly efficient operational control and operations coordination of the Air Georgian fleet while ensuring seamless oversight and coordination with airports and all crew planning and scheduling functions.
Brock began his career at Air Canada where he gained over 20 years’ experience in System Operations Control, having served 14 years as Chief Dispatcher. In 2014, Brock led the Sunwing Airlines Flight Dispatch organization, maintaining strict regulatory compliance while achieving considerable cost savings through an innovative program of optimized aircraft routing.
As Air Georgian’s Director of Operations Control, Brock developed a robust System Operations Control Centre with fully scalable, technology-integrated automation to meet all future regional partner operating needs. Brock holds a BSc from the University of Toronto and has been an active pilot for 35 years, holding a Commerical Pilot’s License.
Kristen Menecola – Vice President, CAPDA
Ms. Menecola joined Air Georgian in 2011 and has focused her growing career on pilot development and technological advancement.
In 2013, Kristen oversaw and managed Air Georgian’s Cadet Program, where Air Georgian trained pilots from unlicensed students, through ab-initio flight training, as crew on our Beechcraft and CRJ fleet, and eventually on to Air Canada.
As Director of IT and Communications at Air Georgian, Kristen has been responsible for the identification, acquisition, and implementation of many of our keystone technology programs, including our critical business intelligence ecosystem.
As the Vice President of CAPDA, Kristen’s experience of marrying technology with student and employee development will play a critical role.
